Jacksonville Pollution Control (JPC) was established in part to service the membership of Jacksonville Spillage Control, an oil spill cooperative, which was created in 1973 as the first of its kind in the United States. In addition to providing OSRO services to the cooperative, JPC provides routine industrial cleaning and response services to a number of clients throughout the Jacksonville area. With one of the region's largest inventory of specialized response equipment and specially trained personnel, JPC is recognized as one of the region's most reliable service providers.
